RK - Smallest, has a chitload of shows and doesn't advertise well. I think they have free or discounted admission for the military and LEO I could be wrong about this. Expect several non-gun-related merchandise tables. Metcalf - Advertises the best of the show sponsors. However, sometimes they often pad table count.
For instance they will say it's a table show when often it's only half of that. Their walk-through traffic is some of the best for the shows, but it's almost always the same vendors who set up for them every time. Military and LEO get no breaks on admission. Expect an abundant amount of non-gun-related merchandise tables.
The traffic is not as heavy at this show as Wanenmacher, I believe mainly due to lack of advertising. There's really nothing super special about this show other than size. Wanenmachers - The largest gun show in the state. Boasts over 4 miles of tables over 4, and spans both the upper and lower levels of the Quick Trip Center Expo in Tulsa. Generally the newer firearm tables are on the top level and antique firearms are on the lower. Do yourself a favor and go to this show, if for no other reason than to say you've been.
Don't expect to be able to "browse" all of the tables and get through the whole show If you are looking for a certain gun or gun part, this is the show to find it. All of the gun shows are dead this time of the year. If you are looking to sell, it's by far the worst time. The cold winter months late and early in the year all through tax-return times are the best If looking to buy, then right now is when you want to go! You won't have to fight traffic at the shows and the vendors are usually ready to deal because of slow sales.
