The father of three has not held a job since he first appeared on Teen Mom 2, although he was allegedly a welder before meeting Evans. Eason has custody of his oldest child, year-old, Maryssa Eason. It is assumed that Maryssa is still residing with Eason, although a custody battle over the year-old is not out of the question.

Evans was fired from Teen Mom 2 in May after her husband, David Eason , shot and killed their family dog. MTV had already cut ties with Eason, 32, a year prior after he tweeted homophobic remarks. The next year, she joined the cast of Teen Mom 2 , which detailed her life with her three children: Jace, 11, Kaiser, 6, and Ensley, 4, from until her firing. I don't know how he's going to do his schoolwork and pass if he keeps it up.

Later in the video, Jenelle addressed her and her mom's conflicting stances on the matter, insisting that the two share "split custody" of Jace. Now that I said that, before I even uploaded this YouTube video, everyone is Me and my mom have split custody until we go to court and change the paperwork. But right now, Jace is living full-time with me. Barbara also said Jace has recently been going back and forth between her house and Jenelle's home due to the coronavirus pandemic. Jenelle has not responded publicly to Barbara's latest comments.

For years, while undergoing personal and legal turmoil, Jenelle had a rocky relationship with her mother and the two had battled for custody of Jace in past years. However, they have recently grown closer.

Jenelle and Barbara celebrated the holidays together last December and the former reality star's mom has also recently appeared on her daughter's Instagram and TikTok pages. Jace, whose father is Jenelle's ex Andrew Lewis , is the eldest of her three children. The former reality star has primary custody of her son Kaiser , 6, who she co-parents with ex-boyfriend Nathan Griffith , and also shares 3-year-old daughter Ensley with husband David Eason.
